About the Laboratory
Atilim University Simulation Laboratory (SimLab) was founded in March 2013. An important part of the materials in the laboratory has been supplied within the frame of the projects conducted under the laboratory. The fundamental purpose of the laboratory is to carry out various research projects on computer-based simulation environments. The laboratory has developed modeling and simulation solutions for educational systems and medical systems. The laboratory has also developed educational simulation scenarios for endoscopic neurosurgery. Within this frame, haptic devices and interfaces are also included in the research fields of the laboratory in order to provide more realistic user interaction.
