R&D Evaluation & Information Meeting Takes Place

With the participation of AU academicians, our R&D evaluation and information meeting took place on October 23, 2023.  The meeting began with President Eryılmaz presenting a general overview regarding the research policies, and the researcher support and incentive mechanisms at Atılım University, as well as the new trends in research. Then, Veli Cengiz Özalp, the Vice President for R&D, shared details on the new incentive/ award system unique to our University, as well as relevant updates. Afterwards, our ARGEDA-TTO Director Atilla Cihaner gave a presentation on the internal support programs funded with Atılım University resources. In addition, two AU faculty members to have made the list of the world’s top 2% scientists as per the scientists at Stanford University, or namely the “World’s Most Influential Scientists” list; Yılser Devrim (the Career-Long and Annual Effect lists) and Saeid Kazemzadeh Azad (the Annual Effect list); were thanked and presented with their congratulatory certificates by President Eryılmaz.
