We Have Guests from Azerbaijan University of Languages

Atılım University hosted five professors within the scope of the collaboration protocol between our Department of English Translation and Interpretation, and Azerbaijan University of Languages.

Azerbaijan University of Languages intends to collaborate with Atılım University in Turkey, London Metropolitan University in UK, Strasbourg University in France, and Milano University in Italy within the scope of their project titled “International Academic Mobility in Translator Training”, powered by the grant to the university by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The 5 visiting professors attend the courses at Atılım University, and exchange information with our professors as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Atılım University President Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Üçtuğ on January 6, 2022. Plans are also underway for Prof. Dr. Ayfer Altay, Dean of School of Arts and Sciences; and Prof. Dr. Berrin Aksoy, Head of Department of English Translation and Interpretation, to visit Azerbaijan University of Languages, and organize a seminar.
