Atılım University Faculty Member Dr. Altan Özkil Receives NATO Chief Scientist’s Award

Dr. Altan Özkil, Atılım University Faculty Member, Graduate School of Civil Aviation Vice Director, and Head of Department of Aviation received the 2021 NATO Chief Scientist’s Award, awarded annually by the NATO Science and Technology Organization.   Having provided his valuable contributions to NATO and Member States in science, technology, and operations research activities, and having undertaken duties such as panel vice chairmanship and membership, in addition to study group leadership and membership for almost 30 years, Dr. Özkil is currently the Representative for Turkey of System Analysis and Studies Panel under the NATO Science and Technology Organization.
