Inauguration Ceremony at Ahlatlıbel Campus for Atılım University Vocational School of Healthcare Services

Atılım University Vocational School of Healthcare Services opened on October 20, 2021 with a ceremony at the Ahlatlıbel Campus of Atılım University.

Atılım University Board of Trustees Chairman Mr. Yalçın Zaim, President Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Üçtuğ, Vice Presidents Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Kaptan and Prof. Dr. Serkan Eryılmaz, Board of Trustees Member Mrs. Zerlin Zaim, as well as our Deans of Schools, Heads of Departments, Administrative Managers, and Vocational School of Healthcare Services lecturers attended the ceremony.       

President Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Üçtuğ informed the attendees on the new campus that blossomed into existence in such a short time, extending his best wishes, in the open-air ceremony. 

The ceremonial red ribbon was cut by President Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Üçtuğ, Board of Trustees Member Mrs. Zerlin Zaim, and Vocational School of Healthcare Services Manager, Faculty Member Dr. Ali Doğan Dursun.   

Welcoming its first students, the Vocational School of Healthcare Services has two departments; namely Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Medical Services and Techniques. The semester opened earlier for 38 Medical Laboratory Techniques Program students, 37 Operating Room Services Program students, 38 Anesthesia Program students, 35 First and Emergency Aid Program students, and 30 Physiotherapy Program students; or a total of 187 students, and 24 lecturers.

In addition to theoretical information provided to our students at the campus that came to be in such a short period of time, our students are offered the opportunity to practice for all courses.  In addition to an array of models available at the Anatomy Laboratory and the simulation centers, one of every two students has the opportunity to research and study, using the state-of-the-art microscopes.
