Professor Serkan Eryilmaz has been appointed member of the Editorial Board of the journal “Reliability Engineering and System Safety” which is published by Elsevier.

Professor Eryilmaz, the Vice President for Research at Atilim University and the lecturer of the Industrial Engineering Department, has been appointed member of the Editorial Board of “Reliability Engineering and System Safety” (published by Elsevier) which is one of the leading journals of the area. The journal is devoted to the development and application of methods for the enhancement of the safety and reliability of complex technological systems, like nuclear power plants, chemical plants, hazardous waste facilities, space systems, offshore and maritime systems, transportation systems, constructed infrastructure and manufacturing plants.
The impact factor and five year impact factor of the journal Reliability Engineering and System Safety are 4.039 and 4.302, respectively.
