Awareness Event of World AIDS Day

HIV/AIDS awareness event was held on 2nd of December, 2019 within World AIDS Day at Orhan Zaim Conference Hall.
Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Üçtuğ, Rector of the University; Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Kaptan, Vice Rector of the University; academic and administrative staff of the University; and students attended to the event.
Following the opening speech of the Rector of the University; the guests have received the red ribbon which is the symbol of The World AIDS Day from the students of School of Medicine. Then, Prof. Dr. Necla Tülek and Prof. Dr. Müge Tecder gave a presentation about the concerned topic within the context of a panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sargon. The event ended with the screening of a movie named “And The Band Played on”.
