These services are to meet the needs of users in accordance to the Defense Planning Processes of Turkish Armed Forces and Defense Industry:

• Conduct research,
• Conduct analyses,
• Carry out modeling and simulation studies,
• Make technology-related forecasts in relation to defense, and follow-up and evaluate new technologies,
• Develop basic technologies,
• Carry out system engineering applications regarding defense systems and/or their sub-systems,

• Create synergy and a flexible and dynamic working environment in defense technology for the researchers specializing in different disciplines,
• Develop and support graduate thesis studies within the scope of the projects,
• Contribute to the development of researchers’ potential in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary studies,
• Increase the R&D potential of industrial institutions and organizations; develop joint projects,
• Contribute to knowledge and technology at both national and international levels,
• Keep pace with national and international developments in defense technologies, and collaborate with other universities, institutes, departments, research centers and laboratories,
• Inform the society about defense technologies; promote this technology in the society,
• Support and guide researchers in advanced studies and subjects,
• Create solutions for existing and potential problems through defense technologies and carry out studies to make up for the necessary infrastructure,
• Organize and participate in national and international courses, seminars, congresses, workshops, meetings and contests.
