About the Center
The Defense Technologies Application and Research Center was founded in accordance to the resolution by the Council of Higher Education date in order to develop and launch infrastructural technologies for system development and to carry out necessary research within the University and the industry as well as Turkish Armed Forces. The Center aims to meet the changing needs of the Turkish Armed Forces with original and domestic designs and free of foreign contributions.
The vision of SAVTAM is to become a leading research center in analysis, modeling and simulation, technology tracking, evaluation and development for the activities carried out in Turkish Defense Industry.
