Course Exemptions
Students may make course recognition request by writing a letter to relevant Graduate School Department pursuant to Regulation on Atılım University Graduate Programs and Resolution of the Board of Trustees date 20.06.2018.
The Board of Trustees determines the tuition fee amounts to be paid by students after tuition fee exemptions applied in accordance with its resolution.

Course Exemptions
Article 21(1): The requirements for exemption from one or more course, admission of grade earned in a former master’s program by special status student, transfer and registering as transfer students shall be specified by the concerned board upon taking opinion of the concerned department.
Article 21(2): Procedures for exemptions from courses taken in other programs by the master’s program applicant must be completed during application for the program.
Article 21(3): In case master’s students wish to take courses from another University, they may take courses from such institutes with proposal of the advisor, approval of head of relevant department and decision of concerned board.
Resolution of Atılım University Board of Trustees (20.06.2018)
- The principles and procedures regarding course exemption and tuition fee payments of students who are to register in Atılım University again after being exmatriculated from a graduate program for any reason are determined as follows.
- Students accepted to thesis master’s programs or doctoral programs after master’s program are exempted from a maximum of 7 courses taken at Atılım University before.
- Students accepted to non-thesis master’s programs are exempted from a maximum of 9 courses taken at Atılım University before.
- The principles and procedures regarding course exemption and tuition fee payments of students who are to register in Atılım University after being exmatriculated from a graduate program of another university for any reason are determined as follows.
- Students accepted to thesis master’s programs or doctoral programs after master’s program are exempted from a maximum of 5 courses taken at another university before.
- Students accepted to non-thesis master’s programs are exempted from a maximum of 6 courses taken at another university before.
