Curriculum Change Announcement
11.09.2023
Date of Announcement: September 11, 2023
Dear Students,
1) The Undergraduate Curriculum of the Mechatronics Engineering Department has been renewed. The new curriculum will be applied to our students who will enroll the department in the 2023-2024 academic year. Our current students will continue in their own curriculum, but in accordance with the adaptation rules recorded in ATACS, instead of some courses in their curriculum they will register equivalent courses. The table of equivalent courses is given below.

2) The prerequisite of the "MECE 332 Mechatronic Instrumentation" course, which was "MECE 309", has been updated as "MECE 309 or MECE 227".
3) There is an important issue that all of our students (including current students) should pay attention. The prerequisite for MECE 228 course, which is offered in the Spring semesters, has been decided as the CMPE 102 course. However, this prerequisite will not be applied for the 2023-2024 Spring semester. Our students who will enroll in the MECE 228 course starting from the 2024-2025 Spring semester must have a passing grade from CMPE 102 course. It is important for all our students to take the necessary precautions in this regard.
We wish you all a healthy and successful academic year.
