11th International Conference on Fixed Point Theory and its Applications

The 11th International Conference on Fixed Point Theory and its Applications organized by Departments of Mathematics of Atılım University and Galatasaray University took place in Galatasaray University, Aydın Doğan Auditorium in July 20-24, 2015. More than 150 participants from 20 different countries attended the conference. Special sessions related with fixed point theory and its applications in engineering sciences, economy and medicine were organized.
The conference was a continuation of a series of conferences on fixed point theory starting from 1989 in Marseille and continuing in Halifax (1991), Seville (1995), Kazimierz Dolny (1997), Hayfa (2001), Valencia (2003), Guanajuato (2005), Chiang Mai (2007), Şangay (2009) and Cluj-Napoca (2012) and was sponsored by Atılım University and Galatasaray University.
The conference proceedings will be peer reviewed by referees assigned by the scientific committee members according to their originality and contributions to the area. The selected papers will be published by Yokohama Publishers as a Proceeding book. In addition, the Springer journal Fixed Point Theory and Applications will publish a special issue entitled Thematic series on Recent Progress in Fixed Point Theory and Applications (2015)where the papers will be considered for publication after a peer review process.
