Chairperson’s Message

Dear Candidate Students,

In a world where competition is increasing day by day, there is a constant increase in the number of well-equipped personnel who are knowledgeable, innovative, confident and aware of social responsibility.

Atılım University is in the effort of educating individuals with strong navy in Public Finance field.

In this context, Faculty of Business, with the expert academic staff, introduced the Department of Finance in 2015-2016 academic year.

Our department; has a curriculum equipped with branches of science such as economics, law, public administration, business administration, accounting, sociology and statistics, which are closely related to the financial information as well as the known financial information.

Thus, our students are trained to have a formation through which they can function in many areas of the public and private sector, with the advantages of the credit system and the education will show itself dynamically as the education is updated in the coming education year.

In addition, in order to start the education at the beginning of the 2017-2018 academic year, our department started to work on the launch of 4 new graduate programs in the fields of "Public Finance - Tax" and "Public Finance Theory" with thesis and non-thesis options.

Our department, which is still at the very beginning of its educational life, offers an interdisciplinary program to provide the knowledge and skills that private and public sectors need.

The program is committed to the principle to educate students who are open to research and development and adopted the idea of secularism, modernism and democracy under the guidance of Atatürk’s principals and revolutions.
