Atilim University students got the Jury Prize in IBM Software Academy Awards 2010

By IBM, our students Satiye ALBAKIR and Murat ÇATAL were awarded the prize for their Smart City Project supervised by Instructor Aylin AKÇA OKAN.
Our students Satiye ALBAKIR from Computer Engineering and Murat ÇATAL from Software Engineering (Team SaMur) got one of the two highest ranks of IBM Software Academy 2010 and won the Jury Prize. Team SaMur with their Smart City Project, supervised by Instructor Aylin AKÇA OKAN from Information Systems Engineering, got ahead of 28 universities, 128 teams and 400 participants as a result of hard studying for 8 months.
Following the final presentation of the project on May 29th, 2010 in İstanbul IBM, team members got their awards from Michel Charouk, General Manager of IBM Turkey on May 31st, 2010.
