Pilots-to-Be Cruise Through TEKNOFEST 2024: “Let a Child Come and Touch a Plane”

Students of Atılım University Department of Pilot Training were at the "Let a Child Come and Touch a Plane" project, one of the most special projects of TEKNOFEST 2024 held at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport, between October 2 - 6, 2024, under the consultancy of Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Aslı Yılmaz, Head of Department. In this significant project, our children, the guarantors of the future, were informed about general aviation, pilotage, planes, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Within the scope of the project, Atılım University President Prof. Dr. Serkan Eryılmaz, Vice President Prof. Dr. Uğur Baç, Dean of School of Engineering Prof. Dr. Yılser Devrim and ARGEDA-TTO Director Prof. Dr. Atilla Cihaner saw the project on site, and supported our students in their valuable contribution.

During TEKNOFEST 2024, children had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with aviation, as learned about the industry and took their first steps towards becoming aviation professionals of the future.
