Update on Education at our University in Line with the Notice from the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Sevgili öğrencimiz,

30.11.2020 tarihli Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kabinesinde alınan karar ve daha sonra yayımlanan İçişleri Bakanlığı Genelgesi göz önüne alınarak,

  • İlgili Bölüm Başkanlığı ve Dekanlığın/Yüksekokul Müdürlüğünün izni ile derslerin yüz yüze veya uzaktan (online) yapılıp yapılmayacağı konusuna  ilgili dersin öğretim elemanı tarafından karar verilecek olup, duyurunun ilgili dersin öğretim elemanı tarafından yapılmasına,
  • Temel İngilizce Bölümünde (İngilizce Hazırlık) eğitimin hibrit olarak devam etmesine ve programın Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu Müdürlüğü tarafından duyurulmasına,
  • Laboratuvarlar, uygulamalar ve sınavların kampüste yüz yüze yapılmasına devam edilmesine,
  • GSTMF’deki stüdyoların hibrit olarak sürdürülmesine

karar verilmiştir.

Daha önce olduğu gibi, Ankara Valiliği İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü İl Umumi Hıfzıssıhha Kurulunun 01.12.2020 tarih ve 2020/85 numaralı kararı gereğince 20 yaş altı öğrencilerimiz aşağıdaki izin belgesini ve öğrenci kimliklerini yanlarında taşımaları ve gerekli durumda ibraz etmeleri koşuluyla hafta içinde sokağa çıkma kısıtlamasına tabi olmaksızın üniversiteye gelebilecekler ve şehir içi toplu taşımayı kullanabileceklerdir.

 

Dear students,

Taking into consideration the Presidential Cabinet resolution dated 30.11.2020 and the Ministry of Internal Affairs Notice published afterwards, the following decisions have been made:

  • The course instructor(s) are to determine whether their courses are to continue formally, or online, with the permission from the Head of the relevant Department and the Dean/ Graduate School Directorate. The relevant course instructor is to announce such decisions for their course.
  • The education at our Department of Basic English (Preparatory English) shall progress with hybrid courses, and the program is to be announced by the Directorate of the Graduate School of Foreign Languages.
  • Laboratory courses, practice sessions, and exams are to be performed formally at the campus.
  • Studio sessions of the School of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture are to progress as hybrid sessions.

Students under 20 shall be able to come to the university and use the public transportation facilities regardless of an officially-implemented lock-down during the week, on the condition that they carry, and present where required, the Permit below, as well as their student ID, as per the Resolution by the Provincial Board of General Health under Ankara Governorship Provincial Directorate of Health, dated 01.12.2020, no. 2020/85.
