Accreditation

In order to strengthen, enhance and improve the requirements of the Architecture Bachelor’s program through an external “peer evaluation,” the Department of Architecture made a decision to apply for the MİAK-MAK Accreditation. The Dean’s office first applied and received the accreditation in 2020. In 2023 Architecture Bachelor’s program received accreditation for the second time after the external reviews were conducted by MİAK-MAK.

Atılım University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Architecture applied to MİAK, Architectural Education Accreditation Association, Architecture Accreditation Board on 13.10.2021. The accreditation process was successfully completed as a result of the evaluations made in the light of the Self-Evaluation Report and the foundation visit dated 2-5 May 2023. We are pleased to announce that your Architecture (Turkish) Bachelor's Program has been granted the "3-YEAR ACCREDITATION," as specified in Article 7.3 of the MiAK Processes (2021) document, through decision number 2 taken during the 9th Period 8th Meeting of the Architecture Accreditation Board on July 20, 2023.
