Message from the Dean

Founded in 2007, the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture consists of the Departments of Graphic Design, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Industrial Design, Fashion and Textile Design, Architecture, and Fine Arts & Elective Courses. Students have a chance to choose elective courses form different departments and to improve themselves according to their interests thanks to design based departments. The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design launched a master’s program in 2009-2010 academic year and the Department of Architecture a joint PhD Program in 2012-2013 academic year, and the Thesis and Project-Based Graduate Degree Programs opened in the Academic Year of 2018-2019, at our School. The students graduated from the departments of architecture and other disciplines of design may apply for the PhD program. Students may participate in Erasmus program, as well.

The Faculty always aims to rank in the top 10 with its scientific and artistic studies and worked carried out nationally and internationally.

The Faculty believes that adopting an environment-friendly and inter-disciplinary approach is a key to success, and endeavors to graduate conscious, qualified and well-equipped student who can leave their marks on to the future.
