Our 2024-2025 Fall Semester Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Student Meeting event was held with the participation of our faculty members and staff and our dear students.

The book chapter titled “Feeding and Swallowing Disorders in Pediatric Respiratory Diseases” by Research Assistant Sena Nur Begen has been published  in the book Pediatric Nutrition and Swallowing Disorders. 

Asst. Prof. Nagihan ACET and Res. Asst. Sena Nur BEGEN participated in The 2024 IASP World Congress on Pain held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from August 5-9, 2024

Asst. Prof. Nagihan ACET participated in The 24th Congress of the European Society for Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM2024), held from April 23-27, 2024.

Asst. Prof. Nagihan ACET's article titled "Effects of Cervical Mobilization on Balance and Proprioception in Patients With Nonspecific Neck Pain" has been published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics journal.

Research Assistant Sema Nur ASLAN's article titled "AB1621-HPR PREDICTORS OF KINESIOPHOBIA IN INDIVIDUALS WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS FOLLOWING UNILATERAL KNEE ARTHROPLASTY" has been published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases journal.

Asst. Prof. Zehra CAN KARAHAN and Asst. Prof. Naime ULUĞ participated in the IAPS's World Congress on Pain 2024, held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from August 5-9, 2024.

Research Assistant Sema Nur ASLAN's article titled "POS1482-HPR COMPARISON OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF TELEREHABILITATION IN INDIVIDUALS WITH OSTEOARTHRITIS FOLLOWING TOTAL KNEE ARTHROPLASTY: RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL" has been published in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases journal.

Asst. Prof. Zehra CAN KARAHAN's article titled "Examination of Early Results of Physical Activity Counseling after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery" has been published in the İzmir Katip Çelebi University Faculty of Health Sciences Journal.

Asst. Prof. Naime ULUĞ and Asst. Prof. Zehra CAN KARAHAN's article titled "Does Reformer Pilates Exercise Improve Cognitive Functions in Sedentary Women? A Randomized Controlled Study" has been published in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies.

The article titled “The relationship between concentric and isometric strength of knee flexor and extensor muscles and postural stability in mild stage multiple sclerosis patients” by Assistant Prof. Seval YILMAZ has been accepted for publication in Neurological Research.

Research Assistant Sena Nur Begen participated in the IIXth Congress of Swallowing Disorders held on.

The article titled “Does smartphone addiction affect cervical mobility, head posture, body awareness and pain pressure threshold?” by Assis. Prof. Nagihan Acet ve Res. Assistant Sena Nur Begen’in has been publishes in Journal of Health Sciences and Medicine.

Research Assistant Sema Nur ASLAN participated in the International Congress on Physiotechnotherapy held from October 3-5, 2024.

Asst. Prof. Naime ULUĞ, Asst. Prof. Zehra CAN KARAHAN, Asst. Prof. Nagihan ACET, Res. Asst. Süleyman KORKUSUZ, Res. Asst. Sena BEGEN, and Res. Asst. Sema ASLAN have participated in the IAPS's World Congress on Pain 2024, that held on August 5-9, 2024, with poster presentations.

The article titled 'The Comparison of the Factors Affecting Forward Head Posture in Academic Staff with Nonspecific Chronic Neck Pain: A Descriptive Study' by Prof. Dr. Erden KILIÇ, Assoc. Prof. Naime ULUĞ, and Res. Asst. Sena BEGEN has been published.

The article titled “Yutma ve Kognitif Fonksiyonların İlişkisi” by Research Assistant Sena BEGEN has been published in Akdeniz Tıp Dergisi.

The article titled “How do visual, auditory and motor dual-tasking each affect swallowing and chewing function?” by Research Assistant Sena BEGEN has been published in Journal of Oral Rehabilitation.

Research Assistant Sena BEGEN participated in the The European Society for Swallowing Disorders 13th Annual Congress held on 01.12.2023 in Toulouse - France.
