Working Principles

Confidentiality: Atılım University Office for Students with Disabilities does not share the identity and condition of the students stating their disabilities with third parties without receiving prior permission of the student.

Voluntariness: Atılım University Office for Students with Disabilities encourages students to express their disabilities; however, services may only be requested by volunteering students.

Respect: Atılım University Office for Students with Disabilities serves by respecting individual differences of students with disabilities, considering the fact that their needs and competences may be different.

Teamwork: Atılım University Office for Students with Disabilities cooperates with relevant individuals and units to create facilitating solutions for learning and evaluation according to individual conditions of students through their studies.

Accessibility: Atılım University Office for Students with Disabilities cooperates with the relevant departments of the university in order to ensure that all students may access all areas at the university.

Responsibility: Not only the Atılım University Office for Students with Disabilities, but also students referring to the unit, individually, are responsible in helping students with disabilities adapt to the university.
