Course Objectives The objective of this course is to learn about the economic impacts of tourism, the need for tourism policy, characteristics, success factors, targets of tourism policy; EU and Turkish tourism policy, tourism planning and investments in the industry.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To learn about the economic impacts of tourism
  • To focus on tourism policy, characteristics and success factors.
  • To have information on EU and Turkish tourism policy
Course Content The economic impacts of tourism, the need for tourism policy, characteristics, success factors, targets of tourism policy; EU and Turkish tourism policy, modern approaches to tourism policy, tourism planning and investments in the industry.
