Course Objectives Production management is a process of planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of the production function. It combines and transforms various resources used in the production subsystem of the organization into value added product in a controlled manner as per the policies of the organization.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To analyze production systems and components and make managerial decisions.
  • Making decisions by realizing demand forecasting with the help of quantitative methods.
Course Content Demand forecasting, project management, quality management, supply chain management, planning and scheduling, and inventory management, materials resource planning (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP) as well as modern production techniques such as lean production, just-in-time production.
