Course Objectives To examine the concept of the rule of law, which is one of the basic concepts of public law, and the other principles and concepts related to this concept together with their historical development.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explains the basic concepts of public law
  • Analyze the development process of public law in the axis of the state of law
  • Counts various principles and concepts related to the state of law
  • Defends the importance and importance of the state of law in terms of positive law and court decisions
Course Content Differences between the concept of rule of law in common law system and concept of Rechtsstaat in continental Europe; the situation in Turkey, the court decisions in Turkey.
