Course Objectives In this course, the students will learn about the genre and the traits that differentiate it from longer narratives as novella and novel. Throughout the course the students will be learning about elements of fiction, such as plot, setting, character, and point of view, tone, among others.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Learn about the elements of fiction
  • Are be able to recognize the elements of fiction in a literary work
  • Are able to employ elements of fiction when analyzing literary texts
  • Get acquainted with numerous short stories from around the world
