Course Objectives | The purpose of this course is to teach students that communication designing is to analyze the daily life with the designer’s discipline. Additionally to cover the steps and the methods of well-prepared advertisement. |

Course Content | The concept of living in the world of advertising; working at an ad agency, task definitions, and relationships, along with the A B C`s of creativity in advertising brief, creative brief, press announcement, advertisement concepts; press advertisement, commercials; presentation and preparation of a campaign. |

3 | The description of advertising which appeared from the advertisement notion. The instruments of advertising and the main principles. Introducing and discussing the terminology of advertising which has an enriched meaning in American English based words. | |

11 | Brief. Analyzing the informative report which is given for the message to be designed, through the real samples in detail. | |
12 | Studying on the real samples to learn and understand how the client’s brief is transferred to creative brief to start the creativity stage. | |
13 | Studying the basic advertisement tools such as slogan, press release, outdoor, jingle, advertisement film and campaigns by observing the real project samples. | |
14 | After defining the main truths, students are going to be divided into unit agency groups. The students are going to prepare a presentation realted to current actual brief including slogan, press release, advertisement film and finally a campaign. They are going to be criticized. | |
15 | The final campaign projects are going to be evaluated by the help of the classmates and the moderating of the instructor. | |
