Course Objectives To teach students how to express objects in two or three-dimensional forms with technical drawing methods.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Students will be informed about the drawing equipment.
  • Students draw objects as two dimensional and orthographic.
  • Students draw the plans and sections of objects.
  • Students will draw three dimensional forms of the objects in two dimensional drawings.

Weekly Subjects and Releated Preparation Studies

1 Introduction, preliminary-test (description and application), description of the course, What is technique painting and perspective? Why is it necessary?
2 Historical development of perspective students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
3 CONICAL PERSPECTIVE (central or angular beam platforms): analyzing and practicing on perspectives with single breakpoint (parallel platform). Analyzing and practicing on perspectives with double breakpoints (angular platform). students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
4 Analyzing and practicing on perspectives with triple breakpoint (curved platform). students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
5 Division of vertical and horizontal surfaces, division of field in the perspective with single breakpoint, division of field in the perspective with double breakpoints and the perspective of the circle, analyzing the samples, drawing and practicing. students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
6 ATMOSPHERE PERSPECTIVE: Depth in colors, Front-Middle-Rear Places, Three Dimensional Illusion, Practice of using linear and Atmospheric perspective in scenery pictures. students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.

8 Panoramic Scenery, Guidelines, Curved Platforms, Sceneries of Cities, drawings and practices. students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
9 Picturing water, the perspective of water, the perspective of a wave, reflections on water, drawing a boat, vessel, ship, etc. students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
10 The perspective of the Sky, drawing a blue sky and cloud shapes, and their application on the colorful compositions. students will be assigned with the next chapter to do some search on it.
