Course Objectives	The aim of this course is to study the literary and philosophical tendencies and movements of the 17th. century through a close analysis of works by eminent authors of English literary history.
Course Learning Outcomes	The students who succeeded in this course; To inform students about the socio-cultural, literary, historical occurrences of the period To become acquainted with the leading authors of the period To learn how to analyse a literary work To acquire the ability to make relevant and wise comments on a particular work To provide students with the necessary basis to understand the 17th. c. literary works
