Course Objectives The main aim of the course is giving theoretical information about law of obligations. Teaching debtor-creditor relationship,sources of obligations, performance of debts and the legal results of nonperformance. Gaining ability to analyse legal problems about obligations.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Learn sources of obligations
  • Solve legal problems about tort law
  • Gain ability to analyse legal problems about obligations
  • Determine the legal relationship underlying the dispute.
  • Identify the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the debt.
Course Content Introduction to law of obligations, main principles of law of obligations, elements of debt relation, tort, unjust enrichment, performance of obligation and discharging of obligations.
