Course Objectives The purpose of the course is to explain the persons of international law, and the disputes between these persons on the base of basic concepts and principles of international law.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Can explain the recognition and succession of states in the international law.
  • Count the basic principles of the conduct of diplomatic and consular relations.
  • Can give examples of international sanctions.
  • Can determine the conditions and limits of the use of force
  • Discuss solutions to current international problems within the framework of international law.
  • Can criticize the proposed solutions to disputes in practice.
Course Content Land, sea, air, space, and environment-related rules, recognition and succession, diplomatic and consular relations, international responsibility and sanctions, peaceful settlement of disputes, the use of force, law of armed conflict.
