Course Objectives The purpose of the course is to explain the main concepts and principles of international law.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Define basic concepts and terminology of international law.
  • Explain how to operate the international relationships and the main institutions of them.
  • Count the main features of international treaties.
  • Criticize the implementations of main international law rules.
  • Can compare the rights and obligations of international legal subjects.
  • Can analyze the determinants of the state about an example provided.
  • Explain the concept of recognition in international law.
Course Content Basic characteristics of international law and differences with other legal arders (domestic law and UE law), sources of international law (treaties, customs, general principles of law) and legal acts.
