Course Objectives The course aims to explore the ideas that emerged with the concept of modernity and their influence on art and design products. It will examine art, design, and interior design products and the issues they raise in the context of various prominent historical concepts. The concept of ethics and its related sub-concepts will be discussed, and students are expected to become aware of them.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Analyze examples of art, design, and interior design within the context of prominent concepts of the modern period.
  • Understand the relationship between modernity, art and design.
  • Develop conceptual thinking skills by identifying the concepts that emerged during this period.
  • Recognize the relationship between ethics and art and design products.
  • Criticize art and design products by analyzing case studies.
Course Content This course explores the concept of moder-nity and related ideas that emerged during the modern period.It analyzes art and design products in the context of historical concepts.Additionally,the course covers ethics and associated issues.Students are expected to critically analyze examples and interpret art,design,and interior design products.
