Course Objectives The objective of the office internship is to provide students with the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of professional skills, including communication with customers, conducting interviews, exploring potential solutions, conducting surveys, engaging in the design process, preparing project and detail drawings, preparing technical reports and files, and managing documents such as cost estimates, progress payments, contracts, tender files, material and product selections, designs, and 3D visuals. Additionally, students will gain experience in preparing presentations and applications, as well as supervising the work of others.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Understand principles, laws, regulations, standards, professional ethics, duties and responsibilities pertinent to the field.
  • Develop processes such as calculation, file preparation and contract preparation in offices.
  • Draw and implement projects that consider all the needs of the user by using professional knowledge and experience.
  • Develop knowledge of interior systems in a way that takes into account the relationship between the basic building construction and the interior structure.
  • Utilize data, ideas, design solutions and projects using verbal, written and/or visual communication techniques and technology.
Course Content The office internship encompasses all operations,processes and practices within interior architecture/architecture offices.Students gain experience in professional life by being in offices for 20 working days.
