Course Objectives To understand and to interprete the development of architecture and art (19th and 20th century), the cultural interaction and the differences in its historical context.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Understands the development of architectural, interior architecture and art works in specific periods of time.
  • Develops critical views about the architectural and art works and interprets
  • Learns to compare the spatial configuration of architural works with other art works.
Course Content The comparative scrutinization of philosophy and approaches based on modern designs and the evolution of architecture,interior architecture and art history by using visual materials such as plans,sections and elevations in the 19th and 20th century.
