Course Objectives | This course will introduce health psychology, which is concerned with the effects of behavioral, psychological and social factors on health and illness. Students will be provided with an overview of the current issues in health psychology; descriptions and psychosocial interventions of stress, pain and chronic illnesses; and health behaviors (such as smoking and exercising). |
