Course Objectives The aim of this course is to evaluate the children with special needs individually, to report the evaluation results, to create and implement an individualized curriculum.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • He/she evaluates children with special needs individually.
  • He/she reports the results obtained from the formal and informal assessment tools for the children in the institution.
  • He/she creates and implements individual BEPs according to the needs of the children in the institution.
  • He/she sets long-short-term goals and educational goals for children in practice.
  • He/she discusses the effectiveness of the developmental program applied to children in the institution and evaluates the individual performance of the children with special needs.
Course Content Developing professional observation skills, determining the developmental levels of children with special educational needs, preparing and implementing supportive education programs suitable for their developmental characteristics, and evaluating the programs.
