Course Objectives The aim of this course is to describe the causes of mental disorders, accompanying structural and functional changes, and the manifestations of mental disorders.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Be able to define the diagnostic criteria and basic features of adult mental disorders
  • Differentiate between adult mental disorders
  • Explain the etiology and prevalence of adult mental disorders
  • Define the prevention and intervention methods of adult mental disorders.
Course Content Assessment of the disorders according to DSM diagnostic system, etiology, symptoms, evaluation, and treatment of adult disorders.
