Course Objectives This course aims to explain the role of scientific method in clinical psychology through describing and evaluating a range of research designs and methods for conducting research and statistical methods to analyze and interpret research.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Gain knowledge on different methods of research and analyses
  • Identify the best analytical approach for a given research question
  • Perform the most commonly used analyses in psychological research such as t-test, correlation, regression and univariate analysis
  • Interpret the findings of analyses
  • Write the findings in APA style
Course Content Psychological research and statistical analyses of data, univariate and bivariate statistical tools, statistical applications with software packages.
