The Mathematics PhD program is carried out in accordance with the Atılım University Postgraduate Education Regulation.

The doctoral program targets students in Mathematics and other closely related fields. The total credit required for students to be accepted with a bachelor's degree is determined as 21 credits. For students who will be accepted with a thesis-based master's degree, the doctoral program will consist of at least 240 ECTS credits, including at least seven credit courses, a seminar, a proficiency exam, a thesis proposal and a thesis study, with a minimum of 60 ECTS credits per academic year. Students may take elective courses from other doctoral programs with the approval of their advisors and taking into account the regulations and guidelines. The minimum requirements specified in the Atılım University Institute of Science Postgraduate Education and Examination Regulation will also be valid for this program.
