Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach Turkish to foreign students by exposing Turkish to A2 level. It is aimed to meet daily needs by speaking Turkish, to create text, to understand the lyrics, to chat.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Reading: • read for the general idea in short texts, • read for specific information,
  • Speaking: • talk about their present activities • talk about past activities,
  • Listening: • find the main point of the listening texts, • listen for specific information in everyday conversations and interviews,
  • Writing: • complete the dialogues and answer the related questions, • write mini texts for different purposes,
  • Use of Technology: • do and submit the assigned online tasks using technology and become independent learners.
  • • Develop the ability to form sentences, • Will be able to understand the instructions at the appropriate speed, • Learn Turkish sentence structures, • Memorize frequently used asset and concept names, • Will be able to express daily needs in new words, • Follow the time flow, • Will be able to explain the events in the beginning with short sentences.
Course Content Vocabulary, structure and communicative skills at beginners level; various themes such as transport, travel, dates, holidays, money, and shopping.
