Course Objectives | Examination of business crimes consisting of commercial behavior norms subject to criminal sanctions in the Turkish Penal Code and other laws; giving theoretical information on economic criminal law in the light of positive regulations on business crimes; It is aimed to introduce the business crimes in positive regulations, to analyze these crimes in theoretical and practical terms, to approach the relevant regulations from a critical point of view in the light of the sanction theory. |

Course Content | Business Crimes in the Turkish Commercial Code and other special laws; historical development of the economic criminal law and the works in this field; the common features of norms within the economic criminal law in the light of the general theory of crime; the sanctions for business crimes the light of the sanction theory and their types and efficiency in terms of criminology and criminal policy. |
