Course Objectives The objective of this course is to provide students with the knowledge of software testing, Different kinds of Testing approaches used in software development organizations.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe key techniques and principles of software testing
  • Explain and evaluate strategies for software testing for different software development life cycles, phases of testing, static testing
  • Knowledge of software testing techniques (both white-box and black-box)
  • Knowledge of defect management
  • Produce approximate documentation for testing, including test plans, procedures and reports
  • Work towards constructive cooperation in programming projects
Course Content Fundamentals of testing; testing through software lifecycle; lifecycle of testing; static testing techniques; test design techniques; defect management.
