Course Objectives Undergraduate students must have knowledge of the child's rights and the place of the child in the field of international and national law.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Explain the issue of children's law.
  • It has knowledge about the characteristics and the importance of child law.
  • Learns the historical development of children's rights.
  • It explains children's rights in international agreements.
  • To discuss the protection of the child in domestic law
  • To learn paternity and custody relation between a child and his parents
  • They explain adoption and necessary conditions
  • Discuss children's issues in terms of social assistance and security.
  • It examines children's rights in terms of the right to education.
  • Discuss children's issues in terms of labour law.
Course Content The historical development and the importance of children`s rights, international treaties on children`s rights, social security, educational rights of children, paternity, parental rights, adoption of children.
