Course Objectives This course examines the concepts of the Turkish Constitutional law institutions and the structures of the constitutional system. After a series of introductory lectures on the historical development of Turkish constitutionalism during the Ottoman and early Republican eras, the course elaborates on the basic principles of 1982 Constitution, followed by an analysis of the normative status of fundamental rights and liberties.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To provide knowledge and understanding of the interface political and the legal institutions in our system of law and government
  • To learn to solve the problems in the constitutional law
  • The constitutional legal integrity of other areas of public law, the ability to solve the problems
Course Content Constitutional law, the normative standards establishing the institutions and functions of the legislative, the executive and the judiciary; regulations of the 1982 Constitution of the Turkish Republic.
