Course Objectives The objective of this course is to provide students with knowledge and hands-on experience in developing mobile software applications and also learn the latest trends in the context of mobile software engineering research. Students will learn skills for designing, developing, testing, maintaining and deploying mobile applications, with particular emphasis on software engineering topics including software architecture, software process, quality assurance, and usability.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To gain a general knowledge about different mobile software platforms (e.g., Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry) To gain in-depth knowledge in one specific mobile platform To gain a breadth of knowledge for developing applications with mobile SDK To learn skills required to develop, test and maintain high-quality mobile software applications To know and execute principles and concepts of software engineering, particularly as it relates to mobile applications To work effectively as a member of mobile development teams to meet project milestones To understand and apply iterative, Agile and lean software process approaches and best practices To gain an understanding of the state-of-the art and state-of-the practice in mobile software engineering research and practice
