Course Objectives The aim of this course is to improve students' ability to identify problems, plan, implement, analyze and report on data obtained for research.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe concepts related to the research process and all steps of this process.
  • Perform all phases of the research process (problem identification, data collection, analysis and reporting of data).
  • Transfer the results obtained from the research to nursing applications.
  • Read and interpret a published research.
Course Content Scientific research in nursing and its use in nursing services, research process, source scanning methods, writing the research problem, qualitative and quantitative research, sampling methods, data collection methods, implementation of data collection tool, recording, analysis and reporting of data, tables and graphics, ethics in nursing researches.
