Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach the aims of exercise therapy, the classification of exercise and the planning of the exercise program, to provide the ability to prepare an appropriate exercise program, and to develop the ability to create an exercise program in postural disorders.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Plans basic exercise program
  • Determines the factors affecting normal joint movement and prepares and implements the appropriate exercise program.
  • Explains the problems and characteristics that occur in postural disorders.
  • Gains problem-solving skills in different postural disorders.
  • Gains the ability to plan and implement exercise programs for different postural disorders.
Course Content Planning the exercise program,teaching the factors affecting the patient and exercises, exercise types for normal joint movements,exercise positions,pelvic region and exercises for lumbar vertebral straightness, front and side abdominal strengthening exercises, William's flexion exercises, stretching exercises for pectoral muscles, exercises for straightening the shoulder girdle with thoracic and cervical vertebrae,
