Course Objectives Learn the necessary theoretical and practical information about pathologies (cerebral palsy, mental motor retardation, birth brachial plexus injuries, congenital torticollis and neuromuscular diseases) in pediatric rehabilitation, evaluation of the patients, establishment of the appropriate physiotherapy program, development of the necessary skills and determining the approaches for rehabilitation.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Learn the evaluation and treatment methods in cerebral palsy.
  • Learn evaluation parameters and treatment in Bracial Plexus.
  • Learns how to approach to children in neuromusculer diseases.
  • Learn what needs to do in mental retardation children's rehabilitation.
Course Content Theoretical and practical courses on physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications of cerebral palsy, mental motor retardation, congenital brachial plexus injuries, congenital torticollis and neuromuscular diseases.
