Course Objectives The general aim is to help students gain basic English language skills in order to communicate at the elementary level. It provides students with the general English language skills required to engage effectively in routine forms of social interaction.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • • Use functional structures to communicate at basic level
  • • Read and get the gist of the simple and short texts
  • • Follow the lesson and ask and answer questions
  • • Ask and answer questions about sports they do or follow
  • • Ask for directions /give directions
  • • Talk about interests and abilities
  • • Talk about birthdays and future plans
  • • Read and talk about health problems , give advice
  • • Write short texts to inform sb.
Course Content More activities on vocabulary, structure and communicative skills at elementary level; various themes such as homes, furniture, sports, transport, plans, and life styles.
