The emphasis is on the preparing a research design, collecting data, data coding, data entry and analysis by using SPSS, and writng findings and conclusions. We will prepare and apply a research design, then we code and enter the data. In data analysis, we will use our actual data and learn single, two and multiple variable analyses, single sample group, two group and multiple group analyses, and factor analysis. By the end of the course, we will be able to construct a complete study report.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • At the end of the semester, students will be able to: define research; explain research terms; describe the research process and the principles and activities;
  • Explain how to extract a sample from a population
  • design a research and apply it
  • decide on type of statistical analysis that is suitable for a research question or hypothesis
  • Uses SPSS for data analysis, learn how to interpret a statistical result
  • write findings according to the statistical results
  • Write conclusions and suggestions according to the findings, study rationale and literature review.
