Course Objectives The main objective of this course is learning artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, internet of things, cloud computing, big data, etc. and learning how developing technologies change business processes on a sectoral basis.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Recognize digital transformation technologies and understand the digitization of various sectors
  • Have knowledge about Blockchain technologies and business applications.
  • Learn about Digital Innovation and Transformation, and examine the evolution of technology and business processes from past to present
  • Understand the concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and big data, and how these technologies transform business processes across different sectors.
Course Content Developing technologies and the terminology of these technologies, their relationship with digital transformation and innovation, the effects of organizational culture on digital transformation, new business and income models, the importance of data and competitive advantage, digitalization in decision support processes, discussion of digital transformation project examples from different sectors.

2 Digital Innovation and Transformation Academic articles on digital innovation and transformation should be read.
3 Technology and Business Processes from Past to Present Articles describing the evolution of technology in business processes should be read.
4 Industrial Revolutions, Industry 4.0. A literature review on industrial revolutions and Industry 4.0 should be conducted.
5 Digitalization in Banking Activities Articles on the impact of digitalization on the banking sector should be read.
6 Digital Transformation and Communication Readings on the effects of digital transformation on communication should be completed.
7 Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies Readings on the relationship between emerging technologies and digital transformation should be done.
8 Midterm The covered topics should be reviewed.
9 Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Thematic articles on blockchain and cryptocurrencies should be read.
10 Banks' Chatbot Applications A literature review on chatbot applications in the banking sector should be conducted.
11 CRM Applications, Trader Robots Information on CRM applications and trader robots should be gathered.
12 Development of New Technologies and Technology Trends (Big Data, Distributed Ledger Technologies) Readings on big data and distributed ledger technologies should be completed.
13 Development of New Technologies and Technology Trends (AR / VR, Internet of Things - IoT) Academic articles on AR/VR and IoT should be read.
14 E-Commerce Digital Payment Systems Relationship Readings on the relationship between e-commerce and digital payment systems should be done.
15 Project Presentations Preparation for project presentations should be completed.
16 Final Exam The course topics should be reviewed, and preparation for the final exam should be completed.
